Fluvanna volunteers participate in Mayday Firefighter Down Class!
Palmyra VOLUNTEER Fire Company - Palmyra, VA
Fluvanna County Volunteer Fire Department hosted a Mayday FF Down Program on March 6th and 7th and had participation from firefighters from all four Fluvanna County volunteer fire companies.  Along with Fluvanna's volunteers, firefighters from Amelia, Norfolk, Spotsylvania, and Louisa attended the class.  Firefighters learned techniques on rescuing downed firefighters, Denver Drills, Columbus Drill, ladder bails, self rescue, etc.  Firefighters also spent time in the classroom learning about LODD's, learning from mistakes that have been made in the past,...

Flood preparation underway
Central Volunteer Fire Company of Elizabeth Township - Elizabeth, PA
Members of Central teamed up with the Elizabeth Township Emergency Management Agency to go door-to-door along the predetermined flood path passing out informational pamphlets.
