B Arena in Berkeley Springs. We will be giving away 12 rifles, and 14 cash prizes OVER $10,000 in
total pirizes. Tickets will go on sale soon, ask your local firefighter for more information.
Tickets will be $25.00 a piece and you are allowed one guest per ticket for a fee of $15.00 at the
gate. Price includes all you can food, and all you can drink.

host a Rural Water Supply course beginning Saturday May 15th, 2010 at the Clintwood Volunteer Fire

Sardis Volunteer Fire Company Station 78 - Murrysville, PA
Today the Sardis Volunteer Fire Company and Relief Association #1 received thier silver status for
certifying 75% of our members to the National Professional Quailifications Standards. The
Participating Department is a program that Commonwealth emergency responders have an opportunity to
participate in and be recognized as a certified fire professional at various levels in accordance

Sat 03-20-10 Field and woods fire 1700 Blk of Capeway Road
Powhatan County Fire Department - Powhatan, VA
Saturday afternoon Brush and Tanker 1 were tapped out for a reported brush fire. Brush 1
arrived to find about a half acre on fire with a pigeon coupe close to the fire. Volunteer
Firefighters quickly stretch a hose line and cut the fire off near the pigeon coupe.
Firefighter then attacked the remaining field and woods fire. The fire consumed about 1 acre

Sat 03-20-10 MVA vehicle on fire 2600 Blk Academy Road
Powhatan County Fire Department - Powhatan, VA
On Saturday morning around 6:30 Engine 1 was tapped out for a reported vehicle accident and the
vehicle on fire in the 2600 Block of Academy Road. Engine 1 arrived to find one person out of
the car and the car well involved in fire. Volunteer Firefighters stretched and
charged a hose line in 28 seconds and was attacking the fire. Other firefighters checked the
driver to find he had minor injuries and refused treatment. Engine Company 1 operated on scene

Fri 03-19-10 Injury accident
Alvaton Volunteer Fire Department - Alvaton, KY
On Friday 03/19/2010 at 7:30am, Alvaton Fire Department responded to a multiple vehicle injury
accident at the intersection of Scottsville Rd and Plano Rd. The accident involved 3 passenger
vehicles and 1 truck. EMS transported 2 patients. One lane of Scottsville Rd
traffic was shut down by AFD for the duration of the incident. Read more »
