The Berkeley Springs Volunteer Fire Company will be hosting a Gun Bash June 12th 2010 at the Triple
B Arena in Berkeley Springs. We will be giving away 12 rifles, and 14 cash prizes OVER $10,000 in
total pirizes. Tickets will go on sale soon, ask your local firefighter for more information.
Tickets will be $25.00 a piece and you are allowed one guest per ticket for a fee of $15.00 at the
gate. Price includes all you can food, and all you can drink.

Vehicle Rescue Description: A course designed for Fire and Rescue personnel with basic and
intermediate experience in vehicle rescue. Class room and practical evolutions will alert students
to new hazards associated with today’s vehicles. Time will be spent on how the laws of physics
affect the vehicle and it’s passengers and the outcome this has on tactical considerations.

Thu 03-11-10 Flood preparation underway Central Volunteer Fire Company of Elizabeth Township - Elizabeth, PA  Members of Central teamed up with the Elizabeth Township Emergency Management Agency to go
door-to-door along the predetermined flood path passing out informational pamphlets. EMA has bee
receiving information from Allegheny County, The National Weather Service and the
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, it is believed that the areas along the Yough and Mon
Rivers in our area may experience moderate flooding.
