This afternoon while some companies were still operating at the earlier fire in Arbor's area a fire alarm came in for a Commercial Property on Circle Drive North.  On arrival responding New Market firefighters found a working fire inside the building with extensions to the roof. command then requested a ladder from North Stelton and an engine from Possumtown.  Ladder 627 and crew responded in and was ordered to Division C to set up and go to the roof with Truck 6.  Crews met up and found fire spreading through the insulation and the incident would require significant overhau...

Early Morning Building Fire in Arbor
North Stelton Vol. Fire Co. - Piscataway, NJ
Early this morning around 0300 hrs North Stelton Fire and Rescue was requested to send an Engine Co. and  BLS unit to the scene of a multi alarm building fire in Piscataway Fire District 3 (Arbor Section).  Engine 621 under the direction of Asst. Chief Phelan responded with a crew of 5 to the scene first requested as the FAST team but quickly put to work instead. Weaver Fire was dispatched to a man trapped underneath his home by a concrete slab .
WEAVER FIRE DEPARTMENT - Weaver, AL
Fire crews arrived on the scene to find a male patient trapped underneath concrete slab. Fire crews used extrication equipment to remove slab from patient, assisted EMS with loading patience. Patient was transported to RMC of by EMS.

  At 9:33 Monday evening Company 22 was alerted to assist Stockdale with a residential structure fire on Railroad Street in the Stockdale Borough.  Command 17 arrived on scene reporting heavy smoke conditions, and requested manpower to report to the front of the structure for instructions.  Eng. 22-1 along with Attack 22 responded and was assigned to check the 1st division for any possible extension.  Chief 22 requested company 81-2 (Monessen Hilltop) for the station fill, due to all hands working the fire.  At 10:07 Company 22 was again alerted for a vehicle acc...

Motor Vehicle Accident with Injury
Hanover Volunteer Fire Department - Burgettstown, PA
1702 hrs. Station 45 and Medic 2100 dispatched for a motor vehicle accident with injury and possible ejection near the Pa / Wv line. Engine 45-3 responded and found Weirton City Fire Engine 79-3 and Squad 79-6 along with Weirton Area EMS were already on scene because of also being dispatched by Hancock County, WV 911. Engine 45-3 assumed command of the scene and released Weirton City Fire.

Rescue Engine Provides a Cover to White Haven
FREELAND FIRE DEPARTMENT - FREELAND, PA
During the wedding of White Haven 2nd. Assistant Chief David and Firefighter Julia Raudenbush, FFD sent the rescue engine to the White Haven Station to cover their box assignments so their membership could enjoy the festivities. On the way to White Haven a MVA was dispatched for a van box that ran into a Reading Northern Railroad bridge. White Haven Chief Dean Raudenbush held the box to White Haven BLS and the rig held at station. Red Oak Community Rural Fire Department Inc. - Greenville, NC
On 08/23/2014 @ 0250 hours, Red Oak Station 51 responded to a structure fire on Dickinson Ave. behind the old Red Oak Fire Station. Engine 5101, Engine 5102, and QRV 5110 responded. Automatic aid was provided by Winterville Community Station 41. Upon arrival, units found an abandoned building fully involved. Personnel deployed hand lines and quickly extinguished the fire. Investigation assistance was requested from Pitt Co. EM and PCSO. Once all hot spots were extinguished, and salvage and overhaul were complete, all units were released and returned to quarters.

Story by WTTG CH5A Prince George's County firefighter was recognized with a very special honor.
