Vehicle Accident Roll Over with Injuries - McKenery Drive - Rostraver Township

0000hrs: Station 105 was alerted for a reported vehicle accident with injuries involving one car on its roof. With Engine 105 and Rescue 105 enroute, Chief 105 arrived on scene and confirmed one car on its roof with the driver self extricated being evaluated by EMS. Engine 105 arrived on scene and 105 members split into crews controlling the hazards and assisted EMS with patient packaging. Once EMS was on the way to the hospital, 105 members assisted RPD with traffic control until the vehicle was righted and towed away. Vehicle Accident Assist on White School Road
Pleasant Unity Volunteer Fire Department - Pleasant Unity, PA
PUVFD was activated at 12:56 PM this afternoon to assist Marguerite VFD with a two vehicle accident on White School Road at Paul Good Road in Unity Township.  The two vehicle collision occurred at the intersection leaving one vehicle on the roadway and a second in the front yard of a local residence.  There was one juvenile transported to a local hospital by Mutual Aid Ambulance for treatment of apparently minor injuries.  Also assisting Marguerite were firefighters from Dryridge VFD.

INCIDENT 29-14-108 COMMERCIAL FIRE ALARM

At 10:41 pm, Companies 29,10 Cecil Twp. PD and Medic 2800 were dispatched to 1000 Corporate Drive, The Hilton Garden Inn, for a Commercial Fire Alarm activation. Call back from the hotel indicated steam from a shower activated the alarm. Chief 29 requested Company 10 to hold in station while he and LT. 29-2 go and verify.

Injured workers on the roof

At 09:45 hours, WRFD EMS was dispatched to the Wood-Ridge Business Complex, One Passaic St. for the report of two injured workers on the roof.  Captain Ferry assessed the situation and requested a ladder truck to respond to the location to assist in the removal of the workers from the roof.  WRFD units EMS 907, R903 and Chief Russo, along with the assistance of Moonachie FD Truck 805 and Moonachie EMS, removed both workers in Stokes baskets via T805's bucket.  The workers were transported to HUMC with moderate injuries by Moonachie EMS.  Al...

Mutual Aid Saturday for Members of Station 36
Whitehall Fire Department - Fullerton Station - Whitehall, PA
On Saturday Members of Station 36 ran a number of calls and caught a bunch of work all on mutual aid assignments.  The day started off with Squad 3611 being requested on a multiple Alarm Structure Fire in Catasauqua Borough.  A crew of 3 responded and assisted with firefighting and overhaul operation for a couple of hours before being released by command.  While the crew was operating at the fire Rescue 3641 was dispatched to South Whitehall Twp to assist Station 32 with an accident with entrapment.  The Rescue rolled out with a crew of 3 and arrived on location to assist w...

INCIDENT 29-14-105 COMMERCIAL FIRE ALARM
Muse Fire Department - Muse, PA
At 6:09 pm Companies 29,10 Cecil PD and EMS 2800 were dispatched to the Holiday Inn Express, 4000 Horizon Vue Drive, for a Commercial Fire Alarm activation. Call back from the hotel manager indicated alarm was coming from the laundry room. Upon arrival, Engine 29 and Rescue 10 crews entered the building and proceeded to investigate. It was determined that lint in the air activated the smoke detector. Crews reset alarm and returned back in service.

Garbage Truck Fire - Fells Church Road at Fellsburg Road - Rostraver Township
Rostraver Central Fire Company - Belle Vernon, PA
0915hrs: Station 105 was alerted for a reported garbage truck fire at the intersection of Fells Church Road at Fellsburg Road. Engine 105 arrived on scene to find the rear brakes of the truck on fire with no extension to the containment unit of the truck. 105 members quickly extinguished the fire and controlled hazards. CAR HITS A DITCH HARD
FAIRVIEW FIRE and RESCUE ASSOCIATION INC. - Monroe, NC
In the wee hours of Friday morning sta. 3 was dispatched to a MVC in the 7400 blk of Concord Hwy. Chief McBryde arrived on the scene and advised of one vehicle in the ditch with heavy damage to the front end. There were two adults and one child standing on the roadway, they had gotten out of the vehicle prior to first responders arriving. No one was injuries and refused treatment and transport from Union EMS.
