Vehicle Accident - Rt340EB @ Washington County Line
Brunswick Volunteer Ambulance and Rescue Company Inc. - Brunswick, MD
At 2353Hrs on October 20th Company 19 was alerted for a vehicle accident on Rt340EB in the area of the Washington County line. Ambulance 197(2V) and Rescue Squad 19(5V) responded on the call. Units arrived on scene to find a single vehicle on its top with the occupant still inside the vehicle. Crews went to work stabilizing the vehicle and extricating the patient. Once patient was extricated they were loaded into the ambulance for transport and remaining units cleared shortly after.

MVC PD-Traffic Control
Red Oak Community Rural Fire Department Inc. - Greenville, NC
On 10/20/2014 at 1235 hours, Red Oak Station 51 was requested to respond to a MVC PD for traffic control at the intersection of Dickinson Ave. and Allen Rd. Engine 5101 and Engine 5102 responded. Upon arrival, units checked those involved for injuries and established traffic control until all vehicles could be removed from the roadway. Once all vehicle were removed from the roadway, all Red Oak units cleared and returned to quarters.

MVC with rollover
Red Oak Community Rural Fire Department Inc. - Greenville, NC
On 10/20/2014 at 0701 hours, Red Oak Station 51 was requested to respond to a MVC rollover with ejection at Exit 73 on US 264 W. Engine 5101 responded. Upon arrival, units found a single vehicle having left the roadway, struck a concrete barrier, and overturned down an embankment. The loan occupant was ejected and had been exposed to the elements for an undetermined amount of time. Personnel assisted EMS with patient care and packaging. Reported Chimney Fire on Lawrenceburg Rd.
Northeast Nelson Fire Protection District - Bloomfield, KY
Northeast Nelson Fire and Rescue were called out to the 5000 block of Lawrenceburg Rd. to a reported Chimney Fire. Upon arrival units found a working chimney fire. Units disassembled the flue pipe and cooled the embers. Units were on scene for approximately 1 hour.

Engine-77-1 responds to Fatal MVA on New Falls Road
Wm. Penn Fire Company - Hulmeville, PA
While returning from a fire call on Roving Road at 12:42 Hours Engine-77-1 was dispatched along with Levittown#2 Fire Co to New Falls Road & Quincy Drive for a reported overturned auto with ejection and fire. Engine-77-1 arrived on scene first and reported a overturned auto with 2 victims ejected. Members provided BLS care for both victims until ALS units arrived, Both victims were transported to St Mary's Trauma Center and both are reported to have passed away late Sunday night.

Double Shooting in Riverdale
PGFDFIRE - Greenbelt, MD
Just before 10 p.m. Sunday, patrol units from Riverdale Park police along with units from Riverdale Volunteer Fire Department and a county paramedic unit responded to the 5500 block of 54th Ave in Riverdale for a report of two people shot.Units arrived on scene, and located two adults males shot, One male shot in the back, the second male shot in the chest. MVC rollover with fire
Northeast Nelson Fire Protection District - Bloomfield, KY
Northeast Nelson Fire and Rescue was called out to the 2000 block of Springfield Rd. Upon arrival we found the vehicle fully involved and the occupants were out of the vehicle. NCEMS transported the victim while NENFD completed the fire suppression. Units were on scene for approximately an hour.

Today 5 Crabtree members attended the annual structural burn training day sponsored by the Unity Township Fire Bureau at the Indiana County Fire Academy.  Crews from the twp departments spent the morning hours taking in several interior burn evolutions.

Working fire 66 Princess Dr
North Brunswick Fire Co. 3 - North Brunswick, NJ
1730 hours the North Brunswick Fire Dept was dispatched to 66 princess dr for reported trees on fire extending to the residence. 100 arrived on scene and confirmed 2 trees on fire with the side of a house involved. Squad 3 arrived stretched a line and went to work. The fire was quickly extinguished and negative extension into the interior. T-209 and E-105 arrived on scene but were returned. the cause of the fire is under investigation by the fire marshals office

Multiple Garages off in Northumberland
Upper Augusta Volunteer Fire Company - Sunbury, PA
This evening around 20:00 hours the Engine was dispatched into the Borough of Northumberland in the 700 Block of West Way St for a garage fire, Chief 7-3 quickly arrived and advised multiple exposure problems and additional building now involved. The Engine and Squad both quickly made the response with 12 members and arrived to assist with fire attack. Units dealt with numerous issues due to a minor water supply issue as well as downed electrical wires that delayed operations however as soon as everything was secured control was quickly marked. Structure Fire
Abingdon Fire Department - Abingdon, VA
At 14:52, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to a structure fire in the 21000 block of Vances Mill Road. Smoke was found to be coming from the rear of the 2 story structure upon arrival.. A wood stove in a sunroom on the rear was the cause and part of the roof was removed to put out the fire. Engine 204, Tower 203, Tanker 202, Utility 207, Command 209, and Command 210 responded along with Washington County Life Saving Crew 55 and the Washington County Sheriffs' Department. Fire Box 1401 - Fairhill DNR Area *WF* Barns
Charlestown Fire Company - Charlestown, MD
Engine 512 was dispatched Saturday morning into the Fairhill Barn(s) Fire Scene to establish a draft to supply water.Engine 512's crew used 40' of hard draft tube with a 20' lift.They supplied 1400' of 4" supply line to RSFD Engine 813 that was in a pumping relay to the fire scene. They also filled 10 - 3000 Gallon tankers that were running a shuttle.The engine crew was Chief Gary Bott, FF Joe Letts and FF Curtis Elmer.Engine was on scene for several hours.

Engine-77 responds to Highland Park truck fire

At 18:50 Hours Penndel Fire Co Engine-8 was dispatched to a car fire at 140 Heartwood Road, Crews from the OVS were still cleaning up at the firehouse from our open house and took in the job with the approval of Chief-8. Deputy-77 arrived and reported a pickup well involved and advised the Engine to go in service with the front bumper line. Engine-8 arrived a short time later and assisted Wm Penn Firefighters.

Engine 9 on scene with a 5 story building with fire showing from several windows and the roof. Companies quickly took defensive positions at the corners of the building. 98 year-old man rescured from a house fire

A 98-year-old man was rescued by firefighters Friday night after a fire erupted in the house in Ritchie.Around 8:30 pm, firefighters from Ritchie, District Heights and Capitol Heights fire department along with other near by companies responded for a reported house fire with a person trapped in the 1100 block of Waterford Drive.First arriving, units from Ritchie fire station 837 reported fire showing from the top floor of a two-story house with a person still inside.Volunteer firefighters from station 837 enter the burning house, as they were making an attack of the fire, they located an elder...

Grain Bin Fire Tanker Assist
Ruscombmanor Volunteer Fire Company - FLEETWOOD, PA
On October 17 2014 at 10:59 tanker 34 was dispatched to Mertz Road in Richmond Township to assist company 32 on a grain bin fire. Tanker 34 responded and shuttled 20,000 gallons of water for the fire suppression efforts. Tanker 34 was on scene for approximately 12 hours.This was a major incident and many other local companies provided assistance. A great job was done by all involved!

GVFD Runs Accident on the Beltway
Greenbelt Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad Inc - Greenbelt, MD
Around 8:45 a.m., GVFD was alerted for a motor vehicle accident on the Outer Loop of the Beltway at the Baltimore-Washington Parkway. Engine 353 responded and evaluated the vehicle occupants once on scene. Fortunately, no one was injured, as the occupants of both vehicles had been wearing their seatbelts. Just another reminder that seat belts save lives, so always buckle up!

Inc. # - F142900006: Hose Company responds to 2 Alarm Blaze near Clear Spring
The First Hose Company of Hagerstown - Hagerstown, MD
On October 17th the Clear Spring Volunteer Fire Company was alerted at 14:32 hours for a reported House Fire on Broadfording Road.  Chief 4 (Mike Reid) arrived on the scene to find fire coming through the roof and immediately asked for the Safety Assignement dispatch.
