Structure Fire
Milton Fire and Rescue - Milton, KY
On 9-22-2014 at 4:28 p.m., Milton Fire & Rescue responded with Bedford Fire & Rescue to the report of a structure fire in the 100 block of Smith Dr in Bedford. Crews arrived on scene and found a fully engulfed barn on fire. Crews worked for about 30 minutes to get the fire under control. The barn was a total loss as well as a tractor, car, and other items in the barn. No injuries were reported. Fire cause has not yet been determined. Truck over the Guard Rail on Rte. 34
Sandy Hook Vol. Fire and Rescue - Sandy Hook, CT
Approximately 11:30pm Sandy Hook firefighters were dispatched to a one vehicle accident with a fuel leak.  Chief Bill Halstead and Engine 441 arrived on scene and confirmed a truck off of the side of the road.  Due to the location of the vehicle, it took a long time for the tow company to get the vehicle back onto the road.  Firefighters applied speed-dri and cleared the scene at 2:11am.

Working silo fire in first due
Friedens Vol. Fire Company - Friedens, PA
0706 hours: Station 603 was dispatched with Medic 902 for a silo fire at 501 Mostoller Rd. The caller was a firefighter from 603 was driving past when he spotted the smoke from the top of the silo. 604 Chief in the area arrived on scene with heavy smoke pushing from the top, sides, and bottom of the silo. 603 Chief (Griffth), Engine 603-2 (J.Shaffer) with 4, and Tanker 603-4 (Stanzyk) all responded minutes after dispatch. MVC with Injuries
Red Oak Community Rural Fire Department Inc. - Greenville, NC
On 09/20/2014 @ 1021 hours, Red Oak Station 51 was requested to respond to a MVC with injuries on US 264 W at Exit 73. Engine 5101 responded. Upon arrival, units found two vehicles involved still in the roadway. Units and personnel established traffic control and performed patient assessment and assisted EMS with those involved. Once EMS cleared, the scene was turned over to NCHP. All Red Oak units cleared and returned to quarters.

Call #11 Search Detail (Bovard Hempfield Twp, Westmoreland County)
Westmoreland County Team 211 Rough Terrain Support Unit - Latrobe, PA
Dispatched into Bovard, Hempfield Twp to assist Bovard FD with a search for a 50 year old male dementia patient. The Team was dispatched along with Bovard FD, Greensburg VFD Bloodhounds, Mututal Aid Ambulance, and Murrysville Medic One. After searching the male was was located by one the Greensburg Bloodhounds and there handler. The patient was placed in a stokes basket and placed on a trailer and removed from the rough terrain by atv. Patient was transported by atv to an awaiting ambualnce and transported to a medical facility for evaluation.

Ligonier Valley High School AFA / Smoke Condition
Youngstown Volunteer Fire Department - Youngstown, PA
At 22:44 the Engine, Tanker, and Service were sent to assist station 42 (Darlington) with an Automatic Fire Alarm at Ligonier Valley High School Chief 43 (Ligonier) was first to arrive and report an odor of smoke in the building. YVFD units were assigned to the Delta side of the building and hands were requested to search the building and help to identify the source of the odor. After a 90 minute investigation the source was determined to be coming from an electrical transformer and Command returned all units to service with no structural damage. Crews Respond to Working Structure Fire

Just before 0500 am Schuyler Fire Department was toned out for an outdoor fire.  Initial reports from dispatch stated that that the fire was confined to an outdoor boiler.  Secondary reports stated the boiler was fully involved and near a structure. Upon arrival of Unit One, the alarm was upgraded to a working structure fire with extension into the roof of the house. Truck Special Call to West View Borough
Bellevue Volunteer Fire Company - Bellevue, PA
Units were alerted for a smell of something burning on the second floor of the West View Police Department. 297 (West View FD) Units arrived on scene and confirmed a good working smell of something burning, unknown source. Extra units were added to the assignment as well as a Special Call for 108 Truck as the fill second due truck. The Truck staffed with four arrived and assisted in investigation of source as well as evacuation of the smoke from the building. 1 Trapped, 1 Ejected on Route 981, Derry Twp
Crabtree Volunteer Fire Department - Crabtree, PA
This morning at 05:15 Rescue 34 was alerted for the Vehicle Accident on Route 981 @ Truxal's Curve, Derry Twp (71 District).  1st arriving units found 1 vehicle overturned with entrapment and 1 vehicle on its side with ejection and a significant fuel spill.  Crews went to work with hazard mitigation, extrication and patient care.  Rescue 34 arrived 3rd due and assisted with vehicle stabilization, fuel spill containment and traffic control.  The Rescue returned in service at 07:40.

Truck Co. responds to Frackville Fire
Citizens Fire Company #2 - Mahanoy City, PA
Today shortly before 13:00 hours T 456 was dispatched to assist the Frackville Fire Dept. along with the Altamont and Englewood Fire Cos. on a structure fire. Tower and Squad 456 responded shortly after dispatched and were advised of PD on scene confirming a working fire with possible entrapment. First due units arrived to find a single family dwelling with heavy fire from the second floor. Truck 57 Pre-paint Inspection

Wilson Place Court Structure Fire
Powdersville Volunteer Fire Department - Piedmont, SC
On August 25, 2014 Powdersville Fire Department and Wren Fire Department were dispatched to Wilson Place Court for a residential structure fire.  Upon arrival fire was thru the roof.   Using a 2 1/2" hose line in the rear and deck gun at the front of the structure we knocked down the bulk of the fire.  Crews entered the structure and continued to battle the blaze.  Crews were on scene from 3:43 until 9:00 AM working on this incident.

A Reported Airplane in Distress brings a Full Township Response to the Rostraver Airport - Johnathan Willey Road - Rostraver Township
Rostraver Central Fire Company - Belle Vernon, PA
1418hrs: Station 105 was alerted for a reported airplane in distress coming into the Rostraver Airport with a 10-15 minute ETA. Fire dispatch was advised by a caller that a Cessna 172 type airplane with one person on board was unable to deploy his landing gear. With that information given to Command 105, a request for the other township companies, Station 103 (Collinsburg) and Station 31 (Webster) was made to be activated and to respond to the park and ride lot near the airport and stage. 0635hrs: Station 105 was alerted for a reported vehicle accident with unknown injuries, one car on its side at the intersection of Fells Church Road at Rostraver Road in Rostraver Township. On-Star reported to the 911 center that they have received airbag deployment signals, but are having no response when trying to contact the driver. Bowie house fire under investigation

~~Shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, fire crews from Bowie, Upper Marlboro, and Kentland along with near by companies responded to the 16500 block of Abbey Drive in Bowie for another house fire.Units arrived on the scene with smoke showing from the top floor of a two-story house with all residents out safely.Firefighters enter the house and located a fire in a top floor bedroom; they were able to bring the fire under control within 15 minutes, with no injuries reported.The fire under investigation

No injuries at a Largo house fire
PGFDFIRE - Greenbelt, MD
Just after 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, firefighters from Ritchie, Bowie, and Kentland along with other near by departments responded to the 1100 block of Largo Road in Largo for a house fire.Units arrived on the scene with smoke and fire showing from the roof of the three-story house with all residents out safely.Firefighters located a fire in the attic area of the house and they were able to bring the fire under control within 20 minutes with no injuries reported.The cause of fire was workings removing paint from the house.
