House fire
Wood-Ridge Fire Department - Wood-Ridge, NJ
At 13:49 hours, the WRFD was dispatched to the area across the street from 254 Innes Rd. for a reported house fire.  Chief Russo arrived on the scene and found a fire in the attic of 257 Innes Rd. and he called the "working fire".  An aggressive interior attack by the first due E902 crew quickly extinguished the fire, keeping the fire damage in the attic area.  The WRFD was assisted on the scene by the Carlstadt, Hasbrouck Hts., Moonachie and Wallington Fire Departments and Carlstadt and Moonachie EMS.  The East Rutherford FD provided coverage ...

Mobile Home Fire In Area 143...
Germania Hose Company - Duryea, PA
First alarm companies were dispatched to Drake St in Hughestown for a reported structure fire. 126 Engine would establish the secondary water supply and put the 3 inch setback line with two 1 3/4 handlines in service. 143 Engine would establish the primary water supply and also stretch attack lines. 226 Ladder would open up the mobile home and assist in fire attack. Crews would operate for approximately 2 hours before returning to service.

Dwelling Fire - Elizabeth Township
Elizabeth Township Fire Department - Elizabeth, PA
Just before 10:30am, the box alarm was struck for smoke coming from a dwelling on Cascade Drive in the Greenock section of the township. The box brought 140, 142 (Blaine Hill), 145 (Buena Vista), and Westmoreland 11 (Sutersville) units on the first alarm assignment. Multiple calls reported smoke showing and an automatic alarm was received for the address via the alarm company. Accident with Fire
Paoli Fire Company - Paoli, PA
Around 07:00 am, Station 3 and Medic 4 were alerted to Industrial Blvd in Willistown Twp for an auto accident with fire.  C-3 arrived on scene and reported a vehicle well involved with fire.  Ambulance 3 and Medic 4 assessed bad treated to accident victim.  Engine 3-5 arrived on location and used a water/foam line to extinguish the fire.

Confinement for the Rescue
Pittston Township Volunteer Fire Department - Pittston Twp., PA
Rescue 1 responded to Rt. 315 by the airport for the vehicle over the embankment with confinement. Rescue arrived to find the vehicle unbalanced on the embankment. Rescue utilized the winch from the front bumper and two air shores to complete stabilization. Once stabilized the occupant was able to exit with some assistance.

Rescue 1 Due into Hughestown
Pittston Township Volunteer Fire Department - Pittston Twp., PA
Rescue 1 responded to Drake St. In Hughestown for the residential trailer fire. Rescue crew arrived on scene and went to work opening up the trailer, and controlling utilities before being placed as the fast truck. Rescue operated for and hour before returning to service.

Working Kitchen Fire
City of Latrobe Volunteer Fire Department, Hook and Ladder Company 2 - Latrobe, PA
Tower 113 was dispatched at 19:54 to respond to West 2nd Avenue in Derry Borough to assist station 41 (Derry Borough) with a working kitchen fire.  Initial reports received from first arriving units confirmed a working fire.  Heavy smoke and visible fire where present upon our arrival. On scene personnel assisted with fire suppression, roof ventilation and over haul.  Tower 113 responded with a crew of 4 and remained on scene for 2 hours until released by Command 41.

Early Morning Pin Job in District 37
Whitehall Fire Department - Fullerton Station - Whitehall, PA
Early Thursday morning Rescue 36 was dispatched with Stations 37, 40 and 62 to Route 145 and Schadt Avenue for an accident with entrapment.  3602 was first on location and confirmed the driver of the vehicle was pinned after the vehicle struck the back of a tractor trailer.  Members removed the driver side doors to get to the patient and extrication lasted about 10 minutes, units remained on scene for over an hour before being released by 3501.

Raritan Township Crash Leaves One with Minor Injuries
Flemington-Raritan First Aid and Rescue Squad - Flemington, NJ
On Tuesday 22 July 2014 at 2019 Hours, the Flemington - Raritan Rescue Squad was dispatched to Leffler Hill Road near Pegg Road in Raritan Township for a report of a vehicle vs. tree motor vehicle crash.BLS Ambulance 4953 responded quickly and arrived on scene to find the driver (and only occupant) had self-extricated and was suffering minor injuries. He was cared for by the crew and then transported to Hunterdon Medical Center for evaluation. On July 21, 2014 around 1400hrs, RS19 was alerted mutual aid to Washington County for a vehicle accident with entrapment in the 4100blk of Chestnut Grove Rd. RS19(6V) responded on the call, while enroute command advised they had one subject pinned in the vehicle and three pediatric patients, this brought A198(2C). RS19 arrived and quickly began extrication. The crew from the squad and a engine company from washington county removed the passenger door and rolled the dash which had the patients legs pinned to the floor and seat. Truck responds to Small Fire inside a residence in the First Ward.

Around 0030 hours, Station 280 was alerted for a reported bathroom on fire inside a residence on Butler Street in the first ward. Police arrived on scene and reported smoke showing. 280 Truck called enroute and arrived on scene within minutes with heavy smoke showing from the rear of the residence. 280 Truck crews made entry and proceeded to the 2nd floor to find heavy smoke. Vehicle Accident With Entrapment
City of Latrobe Volunteer Fire Department, Hook and Ladder Company 2 - Latrobe, PA
Units were dispatched just before 23:00 to Route 982 in the area of Mission Road in Derry Township for a reported vehicle accident involving 2 vehicle with a roll over and entrapment assisting Station 71 (Bradenville).   Initial units on scene confirmed that one patient was entrapped and the use of extrication tools would be required. Units on scene assisted with patient extrication and packaging. Rescue 2 and Squad 2 responded.

MVA in South Hanover
Hershey Volunteer Fire Department - Hershey, PA
While staging at a Gas Leak call in Hummelstown, an Accident with Entrapment was dispatched just north of the borough in the 47 local.  Command 46 released Engine 48 to assist on the box.  Engine 48 arrived to a 2-vehicle crash and multiple patients.  Crews stabilized one car with two patients still inside.  The driver's door was popped with the "Jaws of Life" to gain access.  Rescue 88, also released from the 46 call, arrived and helped EMS with patients in the other car.  Company 47 had multiple units on scene and had command of the incident.

Structure Box in the Boro
FREELAND FIRE DEPARTMENT - FREELAND, PA
During the hours after midnight Luzerne County dropped the box for a reported structure fire in the 600 block of Vine St, in the Boro. Chief Joseph J. Stepanksy reported on air and received additional information of trash buring between two residential structures with possible involvement of a porch. Northeast Nelson Fire and Rescue was called back to the same residence for another active alarm, Upon arrival and investigation we found a malfunctioning alarm, Maintenance on scene was contacting their alarm company to have the situation resolved.
