Car Hydroplaned
FAIRVIEW FIRE and RESCUE ASSOCIATION INC. - Monroe, NC
Fairview was dispatched to Lawyers Rd.W. @ Fairview Indian Trail Rd. for a MVC. Asst. Chief Williams arrived on the scene and advised the incident was at Fairview Indian Trail Rd. @ Simpson Rd. and involved a single vehicle occupied by one. The vehicle was traveling south on Fairview Indian Trail Rd. and hydroplaned in the sharpe curve at Simpson Rd. and ended up in the ditch. There were no injuries. Units on the scene were E-31, R-3, NC SHP & Union EMS.

MVC with Rollover
Red Oak Community Rural Fire Department Inc. - Greenville, NC
On 04/19/2014 at 0842 hours, Red Oak Station 51 responded to a MVC, with rollover, on Frog Level Rd. near our station. Engine 5101, Support Unit 5106, and Asst. Chief 5121(Singleton) responded. Upon arrival, units found a single vehicle off of the roadway and resting on it's side, having rolled over. Personnel made contact with the occupant who was trapped, but not pinned. Once the vehicle was stabilized, personnel removed the rear window of the vehicle and extracted the occupant who was turned over to Winterville EMS for patient care. Busy Day For the Fire Side
North Stelton Vol. Fire Co. - Piscataway, NJ
The morning started off with mutual aid to New Market's 1st due to the scene of a working structure fire.  On arrival New Market Fire Units found a working deck fire extending towards the residence.  North Stelton Fire was requested for an engine to the scene and on arrival was tasked with assisting in overhaul and checking for extensions.  After about an hour or so all units were released.  Later at approximately 1345 hours North Stelton Fire was again requested for service to Jefferson Drive for a mulch fire.  Shortly after arrival of the Police Department and Ac...

Greenbelt Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad Inc - Greenbelt, MD
At 7:21 p.m., Engine 353 responded to the Greenbelt Metro Station for a pedestrian struck by a train. While the Engine Crew was tending to the train accident, GVFD’s Ambulance was dispatched just a few moments later at 7:37 p.m. to S/B Baltimore Washington Parkway at Riverdale Road for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Unfortunately, the pedestrian struck by the train succumbed to his injuries.

Structure Fire
Hanover Volunteer Fire Department - Burgettstown, PA
2117 hrs. Station 45, E-79-4, RIT 49,  RIT 21, Medic 2100, and 4530 dispatched for a structure fire. E-45-3 , Support 45, Tanker 45, E-79-4, RIT 49, and RIT 21 all responded. E-45-3 arrived to find a shed with heavy fire showing and no exposures. E-45-3 took a hydrant at the end of the driveway, and crews stretched a pre connected attack line to quickly bring the fire under control. Both RIT teams and E-79-4 were cancelled.

2017 hrs. Station 45 was dispatched for a brush fire off of Willard Ln. Engine 45-3, Brush 45, Tanker 45, and Support 45 (with Utility 45) responded on the alarm. Because of the remote location, Utility 45 was used to access the fire.

280 Truck runs Working House Fire w/ Unknown Entrapment in Frazer Township
Highland Hose Volunteer Fire Company - Tarentum, PA
Around 13:51 hours, Station 280 was alerted to respond into Frazer Township for a Dwelling Fire. 280 Truck was enroute within minutes of dispatch with a crew of 6. PD and Ambulance 126 called on scene confirming a working structure fire with unknown people still inside. 280 Truck arrived on scene as the first due truck and threw ground ladders and tried for a primary search of the second floor. Tanker Assists Bradenville at Commercial Structure
Youngstown Volunteer Fire Department - Youngstown, PA
At 02:36 The Tanker was activated to assist station 71 (Bradenville) with a working commercial structure fire on Power Drive off Industrial Boulevard in Derry Township. The Tanker was assigned to the water supply division and remained on scene for two hours before being returned to service.  Other units assisting included 113 (Latrobe), 114 (Lloydsville), 41 (Derry), 34 (Crabtree), 36 (Pleasant Unity), 43 (Ligonier), 42 (Darlington), 91 (Dry Ridge), 75 (Hannastown), 92 (Eastern Derry) , 73 (Whitney-Hostetter), 79 (Greensburg), 33 (Marguerite), and Support 610.

FAIRVIEW FIRE and RESCUE ASSOCIATION INC. - Monroe, NC
Fairview was dispatched to a MVC on Hwy 601 @ Clontz Long Rd. E-31 & R-3 arrived on the scene and Asst. Chief Williams assumed command. A tractor trailer hauling a large piece of construction equipment left the highway and overturned its load.

Firebox 502 *WF - Underground Propane leak with fire dispatched ~2024 hrs Truck 5 responded to its first call in our district for a reported structure fire. Upon arrival, it was determined that we had an underground Propane line that had been damaged during an excavation and the foundation hole filled with propane gas and spilled over next to a dwelling and the outside heat pump unit powered up and ignited the gas causing the black mark up the side of the home and igniting a stack of plywood for the construction project. Nathan Goff Apartments--Fire Alarm
LOCK 4 VFC - North Charleroi, PA
On Wednesday afternoon the Charleroi Fire District along with Squirt 81-2 was dispatched to the Nathan Goff Housing Complex for a reported fire alarm.  Eng. 22-1 arrived and staged on the Alpha side of the structure, while Eng. 22-2 arrived and staged on the Charlie side while sending the engine crews inside to check the third floor, where the alarm was sounding.  After a thorough investigation, nothing was found and it was determined that a faulty detector was the cause.  Chief 22 stood down all mutual aid, and Lock 4 personal cleared shortly afterwards.

Still alarm for a 3 vehicle MVA which occurred at 14:10 hours just across the street from Station 4. Personnel on station responded to assist BCEMS with patient care and FPD with traffic and debris cleanup. There was one injury and no entrapment.

Crews from Swissvale Fire responded to assist the City of Duquesne (133) on a 3rd Alarm assignment for multiple residential dwellings in the 100 block of Fourth StreetInitial crews were dispatched at 04:46.  Command reported a 2nd house involved at 05:00 and requested a 2nd Alarm assignment.  At 05:02, Command reported a 3rd structure now involved and placed 3rd alarm companies on “standby.” Crews on the interior attack of the initial fire building reported they were pulling out due to partial collapse on the 2nd floor and Command ordered an evacuation of that structure a...

Truck and Engine on the Box to Butler Twp.
FREELAND FIRE DEPARTMENT - FREELAND, PA
As the crew returned to station after the public assist, Luzerne County dropped the box for a reported structure fire on Woodside Dr. in the Hi Tor Section of the township. The box called for just the truck but with the close proximity of the incident and crews already on station, the engine requested to be added to the box. The truck arrived first to find an active fire in a chimney with no extension to the rest of the structure. Mutual Aid Structure Fire Beaver County
Hanover Volunteer Fire Department - Burgettstown, PA
16:58 hrs. Station 45 was requested for mutual aid on a reported structure fire in Hanover Township Beaver County. Beaver County Stations 68 , 60, 80, and 35 were also alerted. Tanker 45 and Engine 45-3 responded on the alarm. Engine 681 arrived on scene and reported smoke showing from the roofline of the structure. Engine 45-3 crew members joined Station 68 and 60 units on the initial attack while Tanker 45 supplied water to Engine 681.
