Overturned Tanker Closes 41 In Joelton, TN
White House Community Volunteer Fire Department - White House, TN
"U.S. Hwy 41A/Clarksville Hwy in Julton is closed in both directions while officials deal with an overturned fuel Tanker. STRUCTURE FIRE
Circleville VFD - North Huntingdon, PA
Station 8 was activated assisting station 6 for a reported basement fire on the 500 block of carbon street just after 9pm. Police where first on scene and reported working basement fire. Upon arrival engine 8-2 was third unit on scene and stretched multiple hand lines to the structure. Crew from the engine made entry behind engine 57's crew and made a quick attack on the basement. The structure was balloon frame construction and the fire at that point had made it the the first and second division. Barn/Machine Shed/Cornfield Fire
Central City Fire Dept - Central City, IA
At 1106 we were dispatched to rural Central City for mutual aid for a barn and machine shed that was on fire.  The fire quickly spread to the corn field that was south of the machine shed.  Several fire departments were dispatched for tanker support and manpower.  We responded with 2 tankers and 7 firefighters.  Mission complete at 1540.

Residential Trailer Fire In the First Due
Pittston Township Volunteer Fire Department - Pittston Twp., PA
Engine 3, Engine 2, Rescue 1, and the chief responded to Glendale Rd. in the Twp. for the reported residential trailer fire.  112 Engine was first arriving confirming the working fire and stretching attack 1 into the structure. Engine 3 arrived and established the water supply.  The fire was knocked quick and the 166 and 112 companies completed overhaul to finish extinguishment.  The home owner suffered some injuries and was transported to a local hospital.  All units cleared after an hour.

Busy Day for Upper Leacock!!
Upper Leacock Fire Company - Leola, PA
Daytime volunteers responded to four calls for service today including a reported gas leak, spill controls, and a motor vehicle accident. Two patients were transported to a local hospital following this three car crash.  Rescue crews assisted EMS with patient care, controlled hazards, and assisted towing crews in the recovery of a loaded trailer while fire police from Bareville Fire Company provided traffic control services.

Boalsburg Fire Company - Boalsburg, PA
Brush 325 and Tanker 319 responded to the scene. Upon arrival 325 stretched a line to start a wet line and extinguish the fire on the lower section of the scene along with Tanker 419. Tanker 319 went to the upper section of the fire and assisted Company 4 Units with protecting a cabin that was a short distance from the fire.

Engine-77 dispatched to Morrisville for brush fire
Wm. Penn Fire Company - Hulmeville, PA
At 15:51 Hours Eng-77 was dispatched to Station-30 for a cover assignment while crews fought a large brush fire at the Tyburn Road rail yard. Engine-77 was not at station-30 long before being dispatched along with Field-9 to another brush fire at the New Jersey Transit Rail yard off of West Bridge Street in Morrisville. Crews from both WPFC and Parkland worked a large brush fire along the railroad tracks.

Train Wreck in the First Due
Pittston Township Volunteer Fire Department - Pittston Twp., PA
Engine 3, and rescue 1 responded to Oak St. for the reported tractor trailer versus train accident.  Units arrived to find a train that had collided and pushed a tractor trailer 20-30 feet down the tracks.  After an investigation it was found that the truck had broke down on the train tracks.  Luckily there were no injuries on scene and the rig and locomotive were both not carrying any cargo.  Units remained on scene until Oak St. was reopened.

Smoke in a Structure - Kmart - Rostraver Township
Rostraver Central Fire Company - Belle Vernon, PA
1620hrs: Station 105 along with Station 103 (Collinsburg), Station 31 (Webster), Station 80 (North Belle Vernon) and Station 11 (Sutersville) were dispatched to Rostraver Road at the Kmart for reported smoke in the structure. A call from the store manager reported smoke was filling the building from an unknown source and they were evacuating the store. With Rescue 105 and Engine 105 enroute, Captain 105-2 arrived on scene along with RPD unit 6-35 who confirmed a haze in the building, no one was evacuated at this time. 105 units and additional 105 personnel arrived on scene and crews enter...

Mutual Aid to Varick Fire for a field fire.
Waterloo Vol Fire Co Inc - Waterloo, NY
Varick Fire was working a field fire and requested a 4 wheel drive Brush Truck. Waterloo Fire was dispatched for 1603 to respond. 1603 responded to the scene and was given their assignment on arrival. Waterloo assisted and returned to service after the fire was out. Once back at the station the crew had a wash job to do on 1603.

Boalsburg Fire Company - Boalsburg, PA
Brush 325 Responded with a crew of 5. Upon arrival 325's crew assisted with making a line around the burned area. Once a line was established the remaining unburned area was back fired to prevent further accidental fire at the scene.

Utility 34 Runs Brush Fire, Rescue 34 Runs Medical on Easter Day
Crabtree Volunteer Fire Department - Crabtree, PA
Crabtree Volunteers continued to stay busy into Easter Day, running 2 incidents during the afternoon.  At 14:22, Station 34 was alerted to assist at a large Brush Fire working in the Rocks Springs section of Salem Twp (59 District).  Utility 34 took the run with a crew of 5 and assisted with fire suppression and overhaul of the fire that spanned several acres.  While crews operated at the fire, Rescue 34, with a crew of 3 responded on a Medical run in the Forbes Road section of Salem Twp (90 District).  Crews out 1.5 hrs.  Thanks to all the members who g...

Dispatched into Slickville for a large brush / woods fire along Rocksprings Road. Responding agencies: Team 211, Murrysville Medic One, Mutual Aid Ambulance Service, North Hempfiled VFD, Delmont VFD, Slickville, New Alex, Export, Forbes Road, and Hannastown VFD along with the DCNR Forestry Department.

Carlstadt fatal house fire
Wood-Ridge Fire Department - Wood-Ridge, NJ
At 09:34 hours, Carlstadt Fire Command requested one engine to respond to 32 Carlyle Ct., Carlstadt for a house fire.  The three chiefs and E905 responded and assisted the Carlstadt FD with overhauling the structure and checking for fire extension.  All WR units were back in service at 11:55 hours.Our condolences to the Bellina family.

Information from Lt. Scot Landis1858 hours / 802 Mullberry Street / Box 0902 / C platoon Companies o/s with a 3 story EOR, smoke showing from 3rd floor. One line stretched and operating with the bulk of the fire knocked down at 1912. With crews working to open the roof, The rapid intervention company was put to work. MVC with Injuries
Red Oak Community Rural Fire Department Inc. - Greenville, NC
On 04/20/2014 at 1328 hours, Red Oak Station 51 responded to a MVC with injuries at the intersection of US 13 and Frog Level Rd. Engine 5101, Support Unit 5106, and QRV 5110 responded. Upon arrival, units found two vehicles involved with heavy damage still in the roadway. Apparatus was placed to divert traffic around the incident and create a safe work zone for emergency personnel. Personnel performed patient assessment on those involved and provided a patient update for the inbound EMS unit who quickly requested a second EMS unit due to the number of patients involved.
