Welcome to The Demo Fire & Rescue Company

This site is a working demo of a fictitious fire company. Feel free to test drive our service by changing and updating this site to see how easy it is to manage a YourFirstDue.com website. The demo is recreated daily so any changes made here are only temporary. Feel free to add/delete/change content as you see fit.

Keep in mind that others may be using the demo at the same time as you. If something changes while you are using this demo and you did not make the change, that is probably the reason.

The Demo Volunteer Fire & Rescue Co. Inc. is located in eastern Imaginary County adjoining the city of Make Believe. We serve a primarily urban and suburban territory which includes several miles of Interstate I-116. Founded in 1924, as Demo Volunteer Fire Company, Inc., we changed to our current name in 1989, with the addition of the Rescue Division. We have a common Board of Directors composed of members of the community plus the top two officers from each Division.

Hazards in our first due area include the MethylEthylDeath Toxic Waste processing plant, as well as a considerable commercial district, and a small airport. In addition we offer primary fire protection for a population of 246,400. We have over 50 volunteers operating 3 pieces of fire suppression apparatus, two Heavy Rescue trucks, and a Rescue Pumper. On average, we run about 1700 calls a year, the bulk of which are structure fires or vehicle accidents.
